Rhonda began her working life as a teacher in Special Education after completing an Arts degree majoring in Philosophy and Psychology. She worked in the classroom for ten years and then later as a Curriculum Consultant for a further eight years. In this role, she traveled throughout Queensland meeting and working with a large cross-section of people.
Whilst working as a Curriculum Consultant, Rhonda studied law part-time at the University of Queensland and was admitted to the degree of Bachelor of Laws with Honours in 1989. After completing a Graduate .

Diploma of Legal Practice at Queensland University of Technology, she was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland on 13 December 1990. She was later admitted as a Solicitor of the High Court of Australia on 14 September 1991.
Initially, Rhonda was employed at a small but busy CBD practice where she handled a wide variety of files including Commercial Litigation, Personal injuries, Criminal Law, Family Law and Conveyancing. She set up as a sole practitioner in Paddington in 1993 practising in the areas of Civil Litigation, Family Law, Estates and Property.

Interests
Rhonda has a wide variety of interests from Classical Music, Films and travel to food and wine. She is an avid follower of the cricket and is a fan of the Brisbane Lions. |
